Absolutely, it was very much an apology for offence caused as opposed to apologising first making a ridiculous, unsubstantiated comment. Sort of like when Sampson made a stupid Ebola joke. Didn’t like that did she?
Keeps her in the press though, which has been her main aim for years now. Interesting. That Phil Neville never recalled her to England despite her protestations about being an all time great - I’d imagine there’s an awful lot of the squad who have no time for her at all

I think it was more of a ‘i am sorry if you were offended’ rather than ‘apologising profusely’.

She expressed an opinion and people disagreed with her.
Basically she said she thinks people are loving furlough cos they are workshy cunts.
